Welcome to the delightful world of Restaurante Pizzería Altamura Original, a gem nestled in the heart of Beiro, Granada. Located conveniently at Av. de Andaluces, this Italian restaurant invites you to indulge in authentic culinary experiences that transport you straight to Italy.
Altamura Original excels in creating a diverse menu that highlights the rich flavors of traditional Italian cuisine. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or seeking to savor hearty pasta dishes, this restaurant has something for everyone. Their classic pizzas, such as the Pizza Napoletana with its exquisite Cantabrian anchovies and capers, are meticulously crafted, delivering a perfect balance of flavor and authenticity. At just €13.50, it’s a slice of heaven on earth.
For those who prefer something a bit different, you can delight in offerings like the Ravioli Berenjenas Mozzarella; this unique dish features eggplant and cheese-filled pasta paired with the fresh vibrancy of Neapolitan sauce and pesto for €14.50—a true culinary adventure.
Guests have embraced the warm, inviting atmosphere complemented by friendly staff, making each dining experience memorable. One satisfied customer, Kate Dobson, aptly described her experience as "simply lovely" and perfect for a pre-train meal. Feedback from others echoes this sentiment—Keval Dattani enjoyed a quick dinner filled with delicious garlic bread and commendable pizza, while Sarah Vania appreciated the charming ambiance and the quality pizzas offered.
Don't forget to explore their specialties, like the Tagliatelle Carbonara (traditional with egg, pecorino, and guanciale) for €14.00, a classic that never disappoints, or venture into seafood with the Lasagne Frutti Di Mare. This black pasta, infused with the ocean's bounty, is perfect for any seafood lover.
For drinks, Amara Martinez recommends the refreshing tinto de verano, balanced beautifully with lemon, enhancing the overall dining experience without breaking the bank on pricing.
So why wait? If you’re in Granada, make your way to Restaurante Pizzería Altamura Original. It promises a meal that delights the palate and brings smiles, adding a touch of Italian flair to your day.

Pizza done correctly, immaculate, honestly cant think of a flaw. Great food in an inconspicuous location. If you order carbonated drinks make sure you order it right before food comes out. They normally open the lid and serve it so it turns flat.

Charming place on second floor, warm and friendly staff and great pizza. In town for a conference and staying at Hotel Turia- this was a great find in a neighborhood with little to choose from.

Everything was so amazing! The service was excellent despite us not speaking a single word of Spanish. We didn’t have a reservation, but the host tried her best to seat us immediately. Our waitress was the loveliest person ever! She tried to recommend several things to us (and they were all amazing), and even with the limited English she could speak, she was very attentive. The sorbete piña con pasas al ron (basically pineapple sorbet with rum raisin) was so, so good! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! (Photos were taken by my mom so lol I promise they’re very good!)
